Love this park, it is close to my place. I enjoy coming to this park from time to time to either go walk, jog, sit at one of the many benches the park provides and enjoy eating lunch or simply read a book under one of the beautiful trees. The park is close to Downtown Covina.The new playground looks fantastic. It is dog friendly, there is plenty of parking space. I do think the restrooms need improvement. I will like to see the city renovate the women's restroom in the future, they definitely need to be upgraded.There are some homeless people that hang around the park but they don' t bother anybody, other than that I enjoy coming to this park.
I have been coming to this park, since 2009..
I jyst love this park, the used to have lions and other animal staues here, that lots of children used to play on.. but are no longer present.. but with all the renovations performed at this park, its still a gem to go to. They have public restrooms, a walking/ jogging track that surrounds the entire park, they obtain a basketball court, a public swimming pool thats large... lots of swings and slides, for toddlers to play on... a family park, that always has friendly people in it. I truly enjoy, EVERYTHING of this public park. Thank you so much, for always being clean and close by to home. A true gem of a park.
Enjoy walking on, rubberized track area, which is 1/4 mile long. Park has restrooms located on southside of park close to basketball courts. Park also has 2 tennis courts, horse shoe area, baseball diamond, and Aquatics center. People also like to walk there dogs around the park using the side walk. Theres even ice cream trucks that pass by every now an then so bring cash.
Our crew was there to celebrate the lighting of the Christmas tree in downtown Covina. What a great place to be!
Nice day to go for a walk. The park now has cushioned run/ walk path. And out door gym equipment. Shaded with trees . Looks like they are still working on play ground side of park. Tennis and basketball courts open. Didn't see homeless camps.
I really liked it here. Ideal place for playing basketball - two full courts and a little baby one. Nice baseball diamond, a huge community pool area that reminds me of movies about the 50s in Brooklyn, and a stage with park benches lined up in front, which is strangely charming. Playgrounds for the kids, horseshoes for adults, and a skating rink for all the peeps who are far more talented than me. I even understand they have summer concerts and movies.
So with all of this to do and see, why no five star rating? It's hood, man. Homeless folks all over during the day, and it gets no better at night. But that one caveat aside, this park is dope.
I take my granddaughter and she loves this park. Feel safe with police department just down the street. Always many people taking morning walks with their dogs.
Love taking my son here they have swings for babies a lot of running space a lot of shade when you’re sitting in the grass the restrooms are kind of a little ways, but the restrooms were clean.
Nice park, but parking is few. Slides, basketball and tennis,courts, skate park, swimming pool, obstable course, picnic area available. Walking area with exercise equipment. Some areas are not well lit for night walking.
